The Fundraising Partnership is a cause led face-to-face fundraising company. It is an honour and a privilege to work on behalf of such amazing charities and to be able to help them make a difference.

All of us are passionate and devoted to our charities. It is a key motivation for why our fundraiser’s apply and then fulfil the job of a face-to-face fundraiser.

Katharine House provides specialist palliative care for adults with an incurable illness across north Oxfordshire and south Northamptonshire.
​
Hospice care is for anyone over the age of 18 years who has an advanced life-limiting illness. At Katharine House, the care is delivered by a multi-professional team who have specialised in this field and take a holistic approach, considering physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
​
We also recognise the importance of those close to our patients. Family and friends are affected too and they may have lots of concerns and questions that we can answer and support.
Hospices bring together a wide range of support for people who may be approaching the end of their life, such as:

•pain and symptom control
•psychological and social support
•rehabilitation – helping patients to stay independent and continue to live their lives as they have done before
•complementary therapies, such as massage and medical acupuncture
•counselling
•spiritual care
•support for families and carers
•practical and financial advice
•support in bereavement.
At Katharine House Hospice we believe that every individual’s journey matters.

The Katharine House story
Katharine Gadsby was a bright, warm and intelligent young woman. She loved the countryside, was a talented violin and piano player and was very loved by all her family and friends. Katharine was studying social psychology at the University of Wales when she tragically died of cancer aged just 20 years old.

Her death set her father, Neil, and friends on a six-year journey to raise enough funds to build a place that cares for people during their toughest times.

HRH The Princess of Wales officially opened Katharine House Hospice on 14 October 1991. Since then, the hospice has met the emotional, physical and medical needs of thousands of people affected by life-limiting illnesses. Katharine House has been built and largely funded by local people – it is and continues to be a local success story.
