St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing hospice care services for adults, children and their families who are adjusting to a life living with life-limiting conditions, up to their death and into family bereavement support.

St Andrew’s Hospice has been delivering palliative care for over 40 years to people across North East Lincolnshire and for 18 years to children from the whole of Lincolnshire, Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Our hospice care services both in the community and in our buildings, under one roof, provide high quality, person-centred, holistic palliative care.

Services

St Andrew's Hospice is proud to offer free, compassionate care to those who need it in the local community. It supports patients and their families through their entire journey; from the moment they receive a life-limiting diagnosis through to inpatient stays and even ongoing bereavement support. It provides holistic care which encompasses respite and inpatient stays as well as wellbeing services, complementary therapies and family support.

Here is a bit more information on some of the services it provides:

  • Inpatient care - The adult inpatient unit at St Andrew’s Hospice is a welcoming, homely environment where patients can receive round-the-clock nursing care and compassion. It provides symptom control, respite, rehabilitation and end-of-life care for people over the age of 18, with a life-limiting illness.

  • Wellbeing services - The Wellbeing Services help patients live well by being as in control of their condition as possible and, where appropriate, achieve the things that are important to them.

  • Andy's Children's Service - Andy’s at St Andrew’s Hospice is the only children's hospice in Lincolnshire, Hull and the East Riding. It provides free, specialist care and support for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions, from birth to the age of 25.
