Making an important difference
A listening ear, a hand to hold, a warm smile and a shared joke over a cup of tea - these and so many other 'little' things we provide make a big difference to our patients and their loved ones.
Nothing is too much trouble. We've arranged visits from much-loved pets, organised last minute weddings and even brought 'the beach' to our specialist unit so that a beach lover could fulfil her wish to feel the sand between her toes one last time.
With support from us, families can focus on spending precious time together, creating special memories. Crucially our help does not end when someone dies. We provide bereavement support for their loved ones for as long as they need us. Some of our patients have young children and we offer expert support for them too.
You can be a vital part of helping St Luke’s Hospice raise money to continue to care for people who are terminally ill.
